Mrs. Ruthie Mae Harris, 86 of Forrest City, Arkansas died on Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at Health Care & Rehab. Ctr. of West Memphi in West Memphis, Arkansas. Born Monday, November 12, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Alex Moore and the late Velma Moore. She was the wife of the late Edward Harris. She was employed by VA Hospital. Surviving are brother, Mr. James Henry Moore of Forrest City, AR, sister, Mrs. Dorothy Mae Anderson of Forrest City, AR. She was predeceased by brother, Mr. Eugene Moore, sisters, Mrs. Chanie Dorris, Mrs. Janie Satterwhite and Mrs. Pearlie Gregory. A Funeral service will be at 11:00 PM on Friday at St. Luke A.M.E. located at 233 West Broadway Forrest City, Arkansas 72335. Interment will be in Stanley Grove Cemetery, Caldwell, AR. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Thursday, October 22, 2015, at Clay Funeral Home, 2522 East Broadway, Forrest City, Arkansas.
