Mr. Dewitt Ingram, 84 of Palestine, Arkansas died on Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. He was born Monday, December 22, 1930 in Palestine, Arkansas, he was the son of the late George Ingram and the late Celestine Barnes Ingram. He was the husband of Nancy Jones Ingram. He was self employed. He served as a PVT 1 in the Army from 1953 until 1955. He was a Veteran of Korea. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church. Surviving are sons, Mr. Steven Sibert of Aurora, CO, Mr. Neville D. Jones of Tiptonville, TN, Mr. Jonathan B. Ingram of Palestind, AR and Mr. Jason Wade Ingram of Palestine, AR; 4 grand children; 4 great grand children. A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Christ Episcopal Church. Interment will be in Stanley Grove Cremetery, Colt, AR. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at Clay Funeral Home, 2522 East Broadway, Forrest City, Arkansas.
