Mrs. Hulda Jane Stevenson, 71 of Forrest City, Arkansas died on Sunday, December 29, 2013, at 387 SFC 361 in Forrest City, Arkansas. Born Wednesday, May 13, 1942 in Brush Creek, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Mr. Eddie Staggs and the late Mrs. Willie Thompson Staggs. She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Clay Hughes.. Surviving are son, Mr. Sid Stevenson, Jr. of Forrest City, AR, daughters, Mrs. Mildred Garza of Weiner, AR and Mrs. Penny Morris of Forrest City, AR, brothers, Mr. Bearl Staggs of Kansas City, MO, Mr. Randy Staggs of Kansas City, MO and Mr. Bobby Staggs of Forrest City, AR, sisters, Mrs. Betty Hudson of Elaine, AR and Mrs. Bonnie Newport of Kansas City, MO; 16 grand children; 34 great grand children and 64 great great grand children. A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday at Good Hope Baptist Church located at Barrow Hill RD Forrest City, Arkansas. Interment will be in Hughes Cemetery, Forrest City, AR. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 2, 2014, at Good Hope Baptist Church, Barrow Hill RD, Forrest City, Arkansas.
