Mrs. Johnnie Baker, 92 of Forrest City, died on July 14th, 2017, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN.

Mrs. Johnnie was born November 14th, 1924 in Holly Grove AR, to her father, the late Mr. Jarrett Johnson and her mother, the late Mrs. Elnora Johnson.

Survivors are her children, Chaplain (Colonel) Sherman W. Baker Jr., (Retired) of Reno, NV, Colonel Henderson Baker II, (Retired) of Alexandria, VA, Mr. Paul A Baker of Forrest City, AR, Ms. Evelyn Avis Baker of Largo, MD, and Ms. Shandia R. Baker of Louisville, KY; 4 grandchildren and many relatives and friends.

The Funeral Service for Mrs. Johnnie Baker will be at 11:00am on Friday, July 21, 2017, at First Baptist Church, Forrest City, AR. Interment will be in New Sardis Cemetery, Forrest City, Arkansas.

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm - 5:00pm on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at CLAY FUNERAL HOME, 2522 East Broadway, Forrest City, AR.
