Mr. Lepoleon Nelson, Sr. 87 of Forrest City, died December 9th, 2017, at Forrest City Medical Center in Forrest City, AR.

Mr. Nelson was born September 7th, 1930 in Forrest City, AR, to the late Mr. Clarence Nelson and the late Mrs. Tempie Brazile Nelson.

Survivors are his children: Mr. Lepoleon Nelson, Jr. of Conway, AR, Mr. Edward Eugene Nelson of Little Rock, AR, Mr. Christopher Nelson of Atlanta, GA, Mrs. Bytha Mills of Hernando, MS, siblings: Mrs. Clara Strong of Palo Alto, CA, Mrs. Izola Crum of Palo Alto, CA, Mrs. Ozola Ford of Palo Alto, CA, Mrs. Rosie Harris of Chicago, IL; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

The funeral service for Mr. Lepoleon Nelson will be at 11:00am on Monday, December 18th, at Taylor Chapel CME, Forrest City, AR. Interment will be in Casteel Cemetery, Forrest City, Arkansas.

The family will receive friends from 9:00am - 11:00am on Monday, December 18th, 2017, at Taylor Chapel CME, Farr Street, Forrest City, AR.
