Obituary for Elporter Gamble Mr.

Mr. Elporter Gamble, 96 of Forrest City, Arkansas died on Saturday, December 6, 2014, at Regional Medical Center at Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee. Born Friday, March 15, 1918 in Stuttgart, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Mr. Jordan Gamble and the late Mrs. Emma Hatch Gamble. He was the husband of Mrs. Artelure Smith Gamble. He was a retired self employed farmer.

He served as a Corporal in the Army from 1940 until 1943. He was a Veteran of World War II. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Artelure Gamble of Forrest City, AR and many other relatives and friends. A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 13th at Salem Baptist Church located at 105 Haven Forrest City, Arkansas 72335.

Interment will be in Mark and Charity Smith Memorial Gardens, Palestine, AR. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 PM on Friday, December 12, 2014, at Clay Funeral Home, 2522 East Broadway, Forrest City, Arkansas.
