Mrs. Ruth Latham, 77 of Forrest City, Arkansas died on Monday, July 21, 2014, at Forrest City Medical Center in Forrest City, Arkansas. Born Monday, July 12, 1937 in Biloxi, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Mr. Sam Smith and the late Mrs. Zenobia Bourne. She was the wife of the late Mr. Calvin Latham. Surviving are sons, Mr. Calvin Latham of Little Rock, AR and Mr. Andrew Latham of Forrest City, AR, daughters, Ms. Nola Latham of Forrest City, AR, Ms. Mahalia Latham of Forrest City, AR, Miss.Ruth Latham of Madison, IL, Mrs. Ellen Banks of Forrest City, AR, Mrs. Carolyn Ware of Forrest City, AR, Mrs. Lorene Adams of St. Vincent Island, Mrs. Yvonne Bowman of Orlando, FL and Mrs. Lashun Peals of Forrest City, AR, sisters, Mrs. Mary Mabins of Detroit, MI and Mrs. Zenobia Wright of Akron, OH; 24 grand children; 8 great grand children. A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday at New Lake Grove Baptist Church located at 23905 Hwy 70 E Heth, Arkansas 72346. Interment will be in Lake Grove Cemetery, Blackfish, AR. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, July 27, 2014, at Clay Funeral Home, 2522 East Broadway, Forrest City, Arkansas.
