Born Wednesday, October 11, 1972 in Forrest City, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Mr. La'Dell Hull and Ms. Eva Hunt. She was the wife of Mr. Dunel Powell. She was employed by McKesson Corporation as a pharmaceutical operations manager. She was a member of United Christian M B Church in Forrest City, AR, under the leadership of Pastor Andrew Latham.
