Obituary for William Ingram Mr.

Mr. William “Bill” Ingram, Jr., 63 of Fort Wayne, Indiana died on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 in the comfort of his home. Born Monday, January 1, 1951 in Forrest City, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Mr. William Ingram, Sr. and Mrs. Ima Taylor Ingram. Bill Ingram, Jr. was the first African American to attend Forrest City High School in 1965 and graduated from there in 1968 at the age of sixteen. Surviving is mother, Ima Ingram of Ft. Wayne, IN, wife, Mrs. Shirley Ingram of Helena AR, sister, Mrs. Evelyn A. Smith of Ft. Wayne, IN, daughters, Ms. Serena Ingram of Ft. Wayne, IN, Ms Sherris Ingram of Helena, AR, Mrs. Stephanie Goodman of Forrest City, AR and Ms. LaShunda Boyd of Forrest City, AR, 14 grand children and 3 great grandchildren. A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday at Beth Salem Baptist Church located at 835 Garland Street Forrest City, 72335. Interment will be in Casteel Cemetery, Forrest City, AR. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Friday, January 24, 2014, at Clay Funeral Home, 116 North Water Street, Forrest City, Arkansas.
