Mr. Luther Curtis Lucas, 68 of Colt, Arkansas died on Friday, February 21, 2014, at St. Bernard Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born Wednesday, May 30, 1945 in Forrest City, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Mr. Verge Lucas, Sr. and the late Mrs. Ernestine Gowder Lucas. He was the husband of Mrs. Carolyn Fae Hancock Lucas. He was self employed. Surviving are wife, Mrs. Carolyn Lucas of Colt, AR, son, Mr. Dewayne Lucas of Colt, AR, daughter, Mrs. Vernettia Lucas Millbrook of Jacksonville, FL, brother, Elder Verlee Lucas, Jr. of Colt, AR, sisters, Mrs. Loistine Jackson of Kalamazoo, MI, Mrs. Toni Perrin of East St. Louis, IL and Mrs. Vera Greer of St. Louis, MO; 3 grand children. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Pine Tree C.O.G.I.C. Interment will be in Clark Cemetery, Caldwell, AR. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Friday, February 28, 2014, at Clay Funeral Home, 116 North Water Street, Forrest City, Arkansas and from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Pine Tree C.O.G.I.C.
