Dorothy Jean White was the daughter of Benjamin and Mary Kirkland White. She was born on May 27, 1940. She professed a hope in Jesus Christ at an early age and became a member of the Salem Missionary Baptist Church where she remained a member all of her life. A native of Forrest City, she was a graduate of Lincoln Senior High School, class of 1959.
