Mrs. Sherry Burns Woodard, 67 of Forrest City, died Friday, January 4th, 2019, at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR.
Mrs. Woodard was born July 14th, 1951 in South Bend IN, to Mr. James Gates and Mrs. Annie Matthews. She was preceded in death by her father, brother, Mr. Percy L. Matthews and husband, Mr.Jesse L. Woodard.
Survivors are her mother, Mrs. Annie Matthews of Las Vegas, NV, her children Mr. Robert L. Burns of Milwaukee, WI, Ms.Stacy Gates and Ms. Dinesha Burns, both of Forrest City, siblings, Mrs. Marilyn Franklin of Paris, CA, Ms. Brenda Matthews of Federal Way, WA, Mr. Reginald Matthews of Victorville, CA, Ms. Shirley Matthews of Riverside, CA, Ms Kathy Matthews of Las Vegas, NV, 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
The Funeral Service for Mrs. Sherry Burns Woodard will be 10:00am , Saturday January 12th, at Christ Temple Pentacostal Church, Forrest City, AR. Interment will be in Casteel Cemetery, Forrest City, Arkansas.
