Mrs. Grace Montgomery, 83 of Forrest City, died October 12th, 2019, at Regional One Health Medical Center in Memphis, TN.
Mrs. Montgomery was born February 26th, 1936 in Woodland MS, to fthe late Mr. Artimus Hamiltons and the late Mrs Earlo Davidson Hamilton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Edsel Montgomery, Sr., three sisters, Olivia townsend, Geraldine Coleman, and Flora McGregory, three sons, Kenneth, Carl, and Bobby and a grandson, Charles Edwards.
Survivors are; two sons Mr. Edsel Montgomery, Jr. of Forrest City, Mr. Steven Montgomery of Ft. Smith, AR, five daughters, Mrs. Lucy Camper of Forrest City, Mrs. Emma Edwards of Forrest City, Mrs Joyce Strong of Ft. Smith, AR, Mrs. Donna Duckworth of Jacksonville, AR, Ms Lisa Montgomery of Forrest City, two brothers, Mr. Arthur Hamilton of Woodland, MS, Mr. Cedric Hamilton of West Point MS, five sisters, Mrs. Doris Graham of Dalton, IL, Mrs. Hazel Graham of Chicago, IL, Mrs. Christine White of Woodland, MS, Mrs. Tessie Blake of Mantee, MS, Mrs. Cherlyn Colburn of Houston, MS, twenty-one grandchildren, twenty-five Great Grandchildren, two Great Great Grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
The Funeral Service for Grace Montgomery will be kSaturday, Oct. 19, 2019, 11:00 am at Salem Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Casteel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1-5 pm Friday, October 18, 2019 at CLAY FUNERAL HOME, 2522 East Broadway, Forrest City, AR and from 10-11 am Saturday, October 17th at Salem Baptist Church.
