Mrs. Dorothy Chatmon Edmonds, 87 of Forrest City, died Monday, January 27th, 2020, at Willowbend Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Marion, AR.
Mrs. Edmonds was born June 2nd, 1932 in Round Pond AR, to the late Mr. Louis Chatmon and the late Mrs. Cleo Gatewood Chatmon.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Mr. Roosevelt Edmonds.
Mrs. Edmonds is survived by her children, Mr. Tony Edmonds of Memphis, TN, Mr. Kenneth Edmonds of Tulsa, OK, two brothers that she raised as sons, Mr. Frank Smith of York, PA and Mr. Marvin Smith of Memphis, TN. A host of other relatives and friends that loved her dearly including her First Baptist Church family and her Semper Fidelis Club.
The Funeral Service for Dorothy Edmonds will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, February 1, 2020 at First Baptist Church on Cross Street. Interment will be in Casteel Cemetery, Forrest
City, AR.
The family will receive friends from 3:00- 5:00 pm Friday, January 31, 2020 at CLAY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2522 East Broadway,
