Mrs. Emma Lou Mooney, 84 of Forrest City, died March 1st, 2021, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR.
Mrs. Mooney was born August 9th, 1936 in Forrest City AR, to the late Mr. Theo Noel Smith and the late Mrs. Eva Bernard Tyson Smith. Mrs. Mooney's husband, Mr. Jerry Mooney, Sr, son, Elder Jerry Mooney, Jr., brothers, Mr. Noel, Mr. Louis, Mr. Donald, Mr. William Mr. Edward and sister Mrs. Eva Neal, all preceded her in death.
Survivors are daughter, Ms. Joquel Mooney of Hot Springs, AR, siblings Mr. Sylvester Tyson of Forrest City, AR, Mrs. Elouise Wilson of Forrest City, AR, Mrs. Magnolia Wilson of Evanston, IL, Mrs. Evelyn Johnson of Forrest City, AR, Mrs. Edna Mae Lockhart of Forrest City, AR, Mrs. Geraldine Allen of Forrest City, AR. one grand-daughter, one great grand-daughter and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation and funeral service for Mrs. Mooney are Saturday, March 6, 2021 at the Larry Bryant Wellness Center/ Sports Complex in Forrest City, AR; visitation begins at 11:00 am and her funeral service starts at 12:00pm. Burial will follow in Casteel Cemetery, Forrest City, AR.
