Mr. Willie Lee Doby, Sr., age 69 of Forrest City, died Monday, June 7th, 2021, at his Residence in Forrest City, AR.
Mr. Doby was born January 25th, 1952 in Forrest City AR, to the late Mr. Isaac Doby and the late Mrs. Delia Lemons Doby.
His total years of service in this community as an educator was 37 years. His career began September 1974 and ended June 2011 when he retired from the Forrest City School District.
Survivors are, his children Mr. Felix Doby of Forrest City, Mr. Willie Doby, Jr. of Forrest City, Mrs. Nicole Bass of Murfreesboro, TN, Mrs. Jacqueline Smith of Forrest City, siblings, Mr. Billy Ray Doby of Forrest City, Mr. Henry Lee Doby of Tulsa, OK, Mr. Ira B. Doby of Collins, MS, Mrs. Alice Mae Swanigan of Brinkley, AR, Ms. Arethia Doby of Silver Springs, MD, 15 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
The Funeral Service for Willie Doby will be Saturday, June 12, 2021, 1:00 pm at New Light MBC with burial in Casteel Cemetery , Arkansas.
A social distance walk-though viewing is scheduled for Friday, June 11, 2021 from 3:00pm - 4:00pm at CLAY FUNERAL HOME, 2522 East Broadway, Forrest City.
