Mrs. Bettye Jones age 83 of Forrest City, died Wednesday, July 7th, 2021, at Little Rock Hospice Home Care in Little Rock, AR. She was a retired principal from the Forrest City School District.
Mrs. Jones was born October 7th, 1937 in Pelahatchie MS, to the late Mr. Roddy Collier and the late Mrs. Janie Hobson Collier. Her husband, Mr. Harvey Lee Jones preceded her in death.
Survivors are, two daughter, Mrs. Anita Junior of Little Rock, AR and Mrs. Fannie Lockett of Sherwood, AR, siblings Mr. Leon Collier, Mr. James D. Collier, and Mr. Billy Collier all of Pelahatchie, MS, Mrs. Idella Robinson, Mrs. Mariah Sharp and Mrs. Shirley Brooks all of Jackson, MS, five grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
The Funeral Service for Bettye Jones will be at 11:00am, Saturday, July 17th, at Salem Baptist Church , Forrest City, AR. Interment will be in Forrest City Cemetery , Arkansas.
The family will receive friends from 10:30am - 11:00am Saturday, July 17th, at Salem Baptist Church,
