Mr. James Edward Fingers, Sr., age 71 of Palestine, died Wednesday, August 4th, 2021, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN.

Mr. Fingers was born September 6th, 1949 in Palestine AR, to Mr. Earnest O. Fingers and the late Mrs. Mamie C. Fingers.

Survivors are spouse, Mrs. Hazel Irene Fingers of Palestine, father, Mr. Earnest O. Fingers of Palestine, children , Mr. Charles Beard of Camden, AR, Mr. James Edward Fingers, Jr. of Palestine, Ms. Jackie Fingers of Palestine, AR, Mrs. Jessica Rainey of Gurdon, AR, siblings, Mr. Harvie Fingers of Palestine, AR, Mr. Alex Finger of Little Rock, AR, Mrs. Hazel Deloras Cowan of Palestine, AR, Mrs. Louise Bond of Palestine, AR, Mrs. Lynette Hawkins of Texarkana, AR, 15 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

The Funeral Service for Mr. James Edward Fingers, Sr. will be 11:00am Tuesday, August 10th, at Mt. Sinai MBC, Caldwell, AR. Interment will be in Stanley Grove Cemetery, Caldwell, Arkansas.

A social distance walk-through visitation will be held Monday, August 9th, 2021, from 3:00 – 4:00 pm at CLAY FUNERAL HOME chapel, 2522 East Broadway, Forrest City. Masks are required upon entering the building.
