Dr. Rodney E. Echols, Sr. age 70 of Sherwood, AR and formerly of Forrest City, died Friday, April 1st, 2022, at his residence in Sherwood, AR.
Dr. Echols was born March 18th, 1952, in Forrest City AR, to the late Mr. Dan Echols and the late Mrs. Mary Lock Echols. Four siblings also preceded him in death, Ms. Mary Echols, Mrs. Alice Virginia Dumas, Mr. Dan Hawkins and Mr. Charles Echols.
Survivors are spouse, Mrs. Ardelia Echols, of Sherwood, AR, his children Rodney, Jr., Preston and Martina, siblings, Mr. Tyrone Echols of Lancaster, TX, Mr. Robert Echols of Madison, AR, Mrs. Shelia Lofton of Battle Creek, MI, Mrs. Dan Eatta Davis of Forrest City, AR, six grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
The Funeral Service for Rodney Echols will be at 11:00am on April 9th, at Forrest City Civic Center, Forrest City, AR. Interment will be in Forrest Park Cemetery, Forrest City, AR.
The family will receive friends from 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm Friday, April 8th, 2022, at CLAY FUNERAL HOME, 2522 East Broadway, Forrest City, and Saturday, April 9, 2022, from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the Forrest City Civic Center.
Masks are required upon entering both facilities for the visitations and funeral.
