Mrs. Tommye Ivery, of Madison, AR, died August 9th, 2022, at her son's residence in Bartlett, TN.
Mrs. Ivery was born September 11, 1939, in Madison, AR To the late Mr. John henry Edwards and the late Mrs. Thellma Williams. Mrs. Ivery's siblings, Mrs. Geraldine White, Chester Williams and Elder Roger McGhee, all preceded her in death.
She was a graduate of the 1958 Lincoln High School and LPN degreed from Little Rock, AR School of Nursing, then employed at Forrest Memorial Hospital for more than fifty years, a faithful member of Madison Light MBC, an advocate and long-term contributor to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and the Feed the Children Organization.
Survivors are children, Mr. Peise and Jeffery Ivery both of Bartlett, TN, siblings, Saleem Madyun of Phoenix, AZ, Mrs. Arlean White of Phoenix, AZ, Mrs. Mildred Haney of Mt. Juliet, TN, 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and many other relatives and friends.
The Funeral Service for Mrs. Tommye Ivery is Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 1:00 pm. at Madison Light MBC. Interment will follow in Scott Bond Cemetery, Madison, AR.
A walk-through visitation is scheduled for Friday, August 19, 2022, from 2-4 pm at CLAY FUNERAL HOME, 2522 E. Broadway, Forrest City, AR. Masks at required upon entering the building.
