Mrs. Calvetta Pointer age 70, died November 11, 2022, at CHI St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock, AR. She was born February 15, 1952, in Little Rock, AR to the late Mr. Milton Hegwood, Sr. and the Late Mrs. Nancy Beulah Hegwood. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Donny Pointer, Sr. and brother, Mr. Steve Hegwood.
She is survived by sons, Mr. Donny Wayne Pointer II of Mabelvale, AR, Mr. Joseph Dickerson of Little Rock, AR
daughters, Miss Crystelle Hawkins of Little Rock, AR, Miss Lanis Hawkins of Little Rock, AR, brother, Mr. Milton Hegwood, Jr. of Waldorf, MA, sisters, Mrs. Sharon Toombs of Little Rock, AR, Mrs. Arthurene Mitchell of Little Rock, AR, six grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral service for Mrs. Pointer is scheduled for Monday, November 21, 2022, 11:00 am at Union AME Church, 1825 Pulaski Street, Little Rock, AR, interment will follow in Rest In Peace Memorial Gardens, Hensley AR. Visitation will be Monday, November 21, 2022, from 10:00 to 11:00a, at Union AME Church.
