Mrs. Rebecca Banks, 88 of Forrest City, Arkansas died on Friday, October 30, 2015, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born Wednesday, December 1, 1926 in Madison, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Mr. Walker Fleming and the late Mrs. Angie Williams Fleming. She was the wife of the late Mr. Rufus Banks Sr. Surviving are sons, Mr. Van Banks of Forrest City, AR, Mr. Rufus Banks, Jr. of Little Rock, AR and Mr. Wyndell Banks of Silver Springs, MD, daughters, Mrs. Mary Ann Williams of Forrest City, AR and Ms. Lynne Banks of Loretto, PA, sister, Mrs. Lillie Ownes of Memphis , TN; 8 grand children; 6 great grand children. She was predeceased by daughter, Ms. Emma Jean Banks. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Sunday at Prosperity Missionary Baptist Church located at St. Francis County Rd. 10 Forrest City, Arkansas 72335. Interment will be in Casteel Cemetery, Forrest City, AR. The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM on Saturday, November 7, 2015, at Clay Funeral Home, 2522 East Broadway, Forrest City, Arkansas.
