Mrs. Brenda Faye Hemphill, 55 of Forrest City, Arkansas died on Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at Methodist University Hospital-Central in Memphis, Tennessee. Born Thursday, February 19, 1959 in Forrest City, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Mr. Earnest Phillips and Mrs. Lizzie Lawson Phillips. She was a graduate of Palestine High School and was retired from Kiddie Land Daycare in Forrest City, AR. Surviving are mother, Mrs. Lizzie Phillips of Forrest City, son, Mr. Jerry Hemphill, Jr. of Jonesboro, AR, brothers, Mr. Voundail Phillips of Forrest City, AR and Mr. David Phillips of Forrest City, AR, sisters, Ms. Mae Francis Phillips of Forrest City, AR, Mrs. Delois Gardner of Forrest City, AR and Mrs. Helen Smith of Macon, GA. A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at United Christian M B Church located at 203 W Franklin St. Forrest City, Arkansas 72335. Interment will be in Paradise Garden Cemetery, Edmondson, AR. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Friday, August 29, 2014, at Clay Funeral Home, 2522 East Broadway, Forrest City, Arkansas.
